Welcome to the New Atlantic Province Kappa Psi Website

SUMMER ASSEMBLY 2024

"Written in the Stars"

Open to ALL Brothers

A variety of workshops planned by our province development committee will be offered that include round table discussions, bonding opportunities, and more.

For graduate brothers a CE and graduate reception will be provided. We will have social events on Friday, May 31st and Saturday, June 1st at night.

Specific information about these activities will be released as the event approaches. See the attached agenda for information regarding the scheduling of these activities.

Opening Session will be Wednesday late afternoon; Closing Anniversary Banquet will be Saturday Night

Registration pricing for the 61^st GCC is as follows:

· Early Registration -> until 5/15/2024

· Late Registration -> until 6/25/2024

All registration will end on June 25th. No onsite registration will be available.

Collegiate Registration

Early Registration: $350

Late Registration: $475

Graduate Registration

Early Registration: $550

Late Registration: $600

Guest Registration - 13 yo+

Early Registration: $400

Late Registration: $425

Children age 5-12 years will be $150, and children <5 years will be free. It is important that registrants be categorized correctly at the time of registration as this will affect what is included in their registration.

Registration is non-refundable. Included on the registration page is the tentative agenda and frequently asked GCC questions. More information will be forthcoming on the Kappa Psi website.

The Hotel

Renaissance Cleveland Hotel

To be rebranded in Spring 2024 as the Hotel Cleveland- An Autograph Collection Hotel (remains a Marriott Property)
All meeting spaces and guest rooms will be renovated
Room Rates: $174/night (Suites start at $269/night)
- A new link to reserve a guest room(s) at the hotel will be out soon. Group rates are available from 7/20-7/31 with limited rooms available outside of the official GCC dates. (Note: These dates are the default arrival/departure dates on the reservation website. You will need to change to accommodate your arrival/departure date).
Self Parking: $20/day

Closest Airport: Cleveland International Airport (14 miles)
Train: Amtrak Station (2 miles)
Bus: (1 mile)

Reminder: Each Collegiate Chapter will receive a travel stipend for one delegate to attend. The total reimbursed cost for each Chapter will be released by The Central Office

Delegate and Proxy Forms

Delegate and Proxy forms are available to be completed either electronically in the Kappa Psi Portal or paper copies (to be mailed or emailed following the form directions) are also available on the GCC website and attached to this communication. Forms are due to The Central Office by June 24^th, 2024. ‘How To’ guides on delegate and proxy form submissions via the portal are available on the Kappa Psi Website.

Student Poster Presentations

There are so many amazing experiences at a Grand Council Convention. One of the most important elements in convincing employers and preceptors to give you the time off to attend is the number of professional events available. In addition to workshops and continuing education sessions, presenting a poster in the student poster presentation is a great way to seek funding from your school and have time off approved. Information and sign ups regarding the poster presentation will be sent mid-April.

Chapter Sales

Looking to raise some money? Looking for some new Kappa Psi Swag? The Chapter Sales event will return in Cleveland! Information regarding how to participate will be released in the future! (Can also be put on Atlantic Province Fundraising Website) [Must have Correct Licensing]

Opening Social Event

After the opening reception Wednesday, keep the networking going at the Kappa Psi exclusive event at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! Enjoy the exhibits while connecting with Brothers and guests!
